Located in Istanbul, Miniatürk is the world’s largest open air miniature museum. You can see lots of well-known Turkish sights including the Blue Mosque, Ataturk Airport & the famous Istanbul Bridge, depicted in miniature format in a model village.
The museum contains 122 models and covers an area of 60 thousand square meters and is located by the banks of the historical Haliç, one of the most beautiful places in Istanbul. Showcasing 1/25 scale model monuments belonging to the Turkish Republic and Ottoman Empire, the museum houses 59 historical structures from Istanbul and 51 historical monuments from diverse regions in Anatolia in addition to 12 world-famous landmarks from around the world.

Reaching Miniaturk: Take a taxi from Eminonu ( ~center of tourist area). It shall cost around 9-10 YTL (around 7 USD). As an alternative you can take a bus to Miniaturk from Eminonu. Bus numbers 47Ç and 47 E, passes just in front of Miniaturk.
